MISSION
At Ancestral Authority Collective (AAC) our mission is to support Indigenous creatives by providing space, resources, and opportunities to thrive through art and culture. We are committed to uplifting, amplifying, and inspiring the next 7 generations of creative Natives by using creative expression as a pathway for cultural preservation, intergenerational healing, and self-determined future.
PURPOSE
Our purpose is to honor and amplify Indigenous voices - past, present, and future - by creating platforms where creativity becomes a living bridge between generations. We exist to nurture environments where art is not only expression, but medicine, memory, and movement.

Creativity is Culture & Culture is Medicine
The Songs of the Salish Sea Indigenous Fashion Show marked the inaugural event of Ancestral Authority, created to amplify, uplift, and inspire the next seven generations of creative Native voices. This historic gathering featured an all-Indigenous cast: 14 designers, 70 models, 6 photographers, 4 hair and makeup artists, and 35 vendors, drawing a sold-out audience of 300. Held on the Lummi Nation’s homelands at the Silver Reef Casino Resort in Ferndale, Washington, the event celebrated Indigenous cultures from across Turtle Island in a powerful, communal way. Setting a high standard for future productions, this event was truly monumental.
